Muffin- Cheese Muffins
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease muffin pan (12 cups- standard size).
- Blend grated cheese with dry ingreients.
- Combine beaten egg and milk, and add to flour-cheese mixture, beating only enough to blend all ingredients.
- Fold the melted butter or margarine in. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full and bake in oven for 20 minutes or until done. Makes 12 muffins
