    Bar- Coffee Liqueur Fudge Brownies


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2/3 cup butter or margarine
    • 3 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
    • 3 large eggs
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon Coffee Liqueur, divided use
    • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9-inch square pan.
    2. Mix flour with baking powder and salt.
    3. Melt butter with chocolate over low heat or over hot water.
    4. Beat eggs with sugar until light. Stir in chocolate mixture and 1/4 cup coffee liqueur.
    5. Add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 in center of oven for 30 minutes, or until top springs back when touched lightly in center and edges begin to pull way from pan. Be careful not to overbake.
    6. Remove from oven and cook in pan. When cool, brush top with 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur. Let stand until thoroughly cool before cutting.
