Bar- Fudgy Brownies




List of Ingredients



• 3/4 cup margarine or butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  
• 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  
• 4 ounces semisweet chocolate
  
• 2 cups sugar
  
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  
• 5 large eggs, beaten
  
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; line pan with foil; grease the foil.
   
2. In a heavy 3-quart saucepan, melt margarine or butter with chocolates over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove saucepan from heat.
   
3. With wooden spoon stir in sugar and vanilla, then stir in eggs until well mixed.
   
4. In small bowl, combine flour and salt; stir into chocolate mixture just until blended. Spread batter evenly in pan.
   
5. Bake 30 minutes (toothpick inserted in cneter will NOT come out clean). Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
   
6. When cool, transfer with foil to cutting board. Cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces. Makes 2 dozen bars.
