    2 lbs beef skirt or flank steak
    1/2 cup tequila
    1/2 cup orange juice
    3 Tablespoons lemon juice
    3 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    Salt to taste

    Cut beef diagonally across the grain in 1/4 inch thick slice 4 to 6 inches long. In a large bowl mix tequila, orange juice, lemon juice, garlic, chili powder, onion, salt and pepper. If making ahead, cover and chill meat and sauce separately up to one day. About 15 minutes before serving, mix beef with marinade and overlap slices on a small platter. To cook, lay slices flat on a grill above a solid bed of hot coals. Turns slices as they brown lightly.
