    Paprika Meat Balls


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 pound lean ground beef
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided use
    • Dash of cayenne pepper
    • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
    • 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
    • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
    • 1 beef bouillon cube
    • 1/2 cup tomato juice
    • 1 tablespoon paprika
    • 1 cup sour cream


    Instructions


    1. Cook the garlic and onion in the butter until the onion is limp and translucent.
    2. Mix the beef with 1 teaspoon salt, cayenne, parsley and bread crumbs. Shape into balls, 1-inch in diameter.
    3. Brown on all sides in the oil for twelve to fifteen minutes. Drain off the fat, reserving 1/4 cup.
    4. Add the bouillon cube, tomato juice, and the reserved fat to the meatballs. Cook for five to six minutes.
    5. Combine the paprika, remaining salt, and the sour cream and add to meatballs. Heat only until heated through--do not allow to boil. Serve over freshly cooked noodles. Yield 6 servings.
