2 cups rice
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon papper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons bacon drippings
1 cup chicken broth (more needed according to rice package)
1 cup tomatoe puree or chopped tomatoes
Salt to taste
4 rings green pepper
2 slices onionRecipe
Saute rice, cumin, pepper and garlic powder in bacon drippings for 3 minutes. Add chicken broth and tomato puree or tomatoes. Mix well. Cook according to directions on rice package. Adjust amount of chicken broth to amount of liquid required in the directions on the rice package. arrange green pepper and onion on top of rice. Do not stir while cooking. Makes 4 servings.
