    Sweet- Caramel Sauce


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 2/3 cup light corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 1 (5.33 ounce) can evaporated milk


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (234 to 240 on candy thermometer), stirring constantly.
    2. Remove from heat; stir in salt and milk. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
