Sweet- Caramel Sauce

- 1 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (5.33 ounce) can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (234 to 240 on candy thermometer), stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; stir in salt and milk. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
