    Sweet- Chocolate Sauce


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
    • 3 cups sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 (13 ounce) can evaporated milk


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; stir in remaining ingredients.
    2. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth.
    3. Serve warm or cold over ice cream. Makes about 4 cups.
