1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup half- and -half
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
Combine sugar and cocoa in a small saucepan. Stir in corn syrup, and half- and -half. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Serve hot over ice cream. Yield: 1 1/3 cups.
