    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup white wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons prepared mustard
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 cup crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2 cup pineapple juice

    Recipe



    Combine sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constanly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; stir in mustard, ginger, and pineapple.

    Combine cornstarch and juice, stirring until blended. Gradually stir about one-fourth of hot mixture into cornstarch mixture; add to remaining hot mixture, sitrring constanly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Yield: 1 1/2 cups
