    Braided Italian Flag Bread

    List of Ingredients




    1 can pillsbury all ready pizza crust
    3 T finely chopped roasted red bell pepper well drained
    2 T purchased pesto.. well drained
    2 T cream cheese with chives and onions
    1 egg
    1 tsp water
    1 tsp sesame seed

    Recipe



    Move oven rack to highest position. Heat oven to 375

    Unroll dough on ungreased cookie sheet and press out to a 12x10 inch rectangle.
    (use a rolling pin... lots easier) Cut dough into 3 strips... lenghtwise.

    Spread roasted peppers to within 1/2 inch edges of one strip Spread pesto to
    within 1/2 inch edges of second strip Spread cream cheese to within 1/2 edge of
    third strip

    In small bowl, combine egg and water, beat well. Brush long right edge of each
    strip lightly with egg mixture. Starting with long left edge, carefully roll each strip
    into long rope. PInch edges together so they seal turning so seal side is down.
    From center, loosely braid ropes to each end, pinch ends to seal together. Brush
    with egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Bake at 375 on highest rack in oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove bread from cookie sheet and cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm...store in
    fridge.

    TIP:....to easily drain pesto... heat over low heat or in micro just til warm... drain
    on paper towel.
