Broiled Seafood Canapes
List of Ingredients
1 c Cooked seafood, flaked (fish, crab meat or even chopped shrimp is good)
6 sl White bread
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Cheddar
1/3 cup chili sauce or seafood sauce
American cheese, grated
Recipe
Toast bread on one side; trim off crusts and cut bread in half. Butter untoasted sides; cover with a layer of seafood, then chili sauce or seafood sauce and top with cheese. Place canapes on a baking sheet under the broiler. Broil until the cheese is melted and the canapes are heated through. Makes 12 canapes.
