    Smoky Corn and Crab Chowder

    List of Ingredients





    1 T oil
    1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
    1 cup diced new potatoes
    2 cups water
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp dried thyme
    2 cups milk
    1 (16-oz.) can cream-style corn
    2 cups frozen petite white corn
    6 green onions, thinly chopped, including the green part
    1 cup shredded, smoked Gouda cheese
    1 (6-oz.) can White Crabmeat, drained

    Recipe



    In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add red pepper and potatoes; cook and stir
    about 3 mins.

    Add water, salt, and thyme. Bring to a boil. Lower heat; cover and simmer until potatoes are
    tender, about 15 mins.

    Stir in milk, creamed corn, green onions, white corn, and cheese. Cook until heated through,
    and cheese is melted, 5-7 mins. Do not allow to boil.

    Stir in crabmeat. Ladle into bowls.

    Makes 4-6 servings.
