    Coca-Cola Cake

    COCA-COLA CAKE


    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup butter
    2 T cocoa -- (2 to 3)
    1 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
    1 cup Coca-Cola
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    2 eggs -- beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp vanilla

    Combine flour and sugar. Heat butter, cocoa, marshmallows and cola until marshmallows are melted. Pour over flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Beat together buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Add to flour mixture and mix well. This will be a thin batter. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13" pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Frost cake while still hot.



    Coca-Cola Frosting:

    1/2 cup butter
    2 T cocoa
    6 T Coca-Cola
    1 LB powdered sugar
    1 cup pecans, chopped

    Combine butter, cocoa and cola. Heat to a boil. Pour over sugar and beat well until smooth. Add pecans. Mix well. Spread over hot cake.
