    Hot Pineapple Salad

    This recipe is from one of my many cookbooks.
    “Whistle Stop Cookbook” by Mary Jo Smith McMichael

    It is really yummy!

    Hot Pineapple Salad

    1 (20-oz) can pineapple chunks, drained, keep juice
    ½ cup sugar
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    3 TAB. flour
    3 TAB. reserved Pineapple juice
    ¼ cup butter melted
    1 cup buttery crackers, crushed

    Combine all ingredients except cracker crumbs and butter.
    Place in a buttered 1 ½ quart casserole dish.
    Top with cracker crumbs and butter.
    Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
