1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 cup minced raw shrimp
3/4 cup Chinese celery cabbage stalk
3 water chestnuts
3 scallions
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound won ton skins (from Chinese grocery(
1 egg white
Recipe
Preparation:
1) Boil water in steamer
2) Chop Chinese celery cabbage stalk fine
3) Chop water chestnuts fine.
4) Mix pork, shrimp, Chinese celery cabbage stalk, water chestnuts, scallions, soy sauce and salt.
5) Beat egg whites until stiff.
Cooking:
1) Place 2 tablespoons of mixture in center of won ton skins.
2) Raise the sided of the skins until they meet
at the top.
3) Seal by brushing with egg white and pressing together.
4) Place dem sem on small square of aluminum foil and put in steamer.
5) Steam 35 minutes.
6) Serve with duck sauce or soy sauce and vinegar.
