Candied apple pie

List of Ingredients
- two crusts (jiffy mix is super easy)
- 6 cups of apples peeled and sliced
- roughly 3/4 c. of sugar
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1 - 2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 - 2 tsp of nutmeg
- TOPPING:
- 2tbs of butter
- 1/2 c of brown sugar
- 2tbs of whipping cream
- 1/2 c. of crushed pecans (opt)
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Coat apples in this mix and place in pie pan with crust in pan (obviously!! lol) If there is any excess of the
flour/sugar mix I usually pour it over the apples in the pan. put the second crust over the top and cut fairly large slits in them. I actually make long,
narrow ovals so the topping goes into the pie instead of over the edge of the pie! Bake the pie for ~40 minutes at 400 degrees.
- When the pie is almost done mix the topping and microwave for 2 min. when pie is done coat the pie with the topping and bake for another 2 min. and
