    List of Ingredients


    • two crusts (jiffy mix is super easy)
    • 6 cups of apples peeled and sliced
    • roughly 3/4 c. of sugar
    • 2/3 c. flour
    • 1 - 2 tsp of cinnamon
    • 1 - 2 tsp of nutmeg
    • TOPPING:
    • 2tbs of butter
    • 1/2 c of brown sugar
    • 2tbs of whipping cream
    • 1/2 c. of crushed pecans (opt)


    Instructions


    1. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Coat apples in this mix and place in pie pan with crust in pan (obviously!! lol) If there is any excess of the
      flour/sugar mix I usually pour it over the apples in the pan. put the second crust over the top and cut fairly large slits in them. I actually make long,
      narrow ovals so the topping goes into the pie instead of over the edge of the pie! Bake the pie for ~40 minutes at 400 degrees.
    2. When the pie is almost done mix the topping and microwave for 2 min. when pie is done coat the pie with the topping and bake for another 2 min. and
      ENJOY!!!!!
