Recipe Introduction
Here is a yummy and easy recipe that I got from a friend. It is actually for the oven, but I put it in my crock pot and it was just as good.
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. stew meat
- 4 cubed carrots
- 3 cubed potatoes
- 1 diced onion
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 soup can of water
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put all ingreditents in a large casserole/crock pot and stir. Do not brown meat. Cover and put in 250 degree oven for 5 hours. In the crock pot I put it on low for about 6 hours.
- I usually make a double batch since I have a 6 quart crock pot and a family of 6, including 2 teenage boys. Also, I ususally buy pot roast/chuck roast/or some other cheaper cut of beef and cut it up myself to save $.
