Chicken CAsserole
This is an old recipe, still tastes great.
List of Ingredients
- one whole chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup, or mushroom
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 (8oz) sour cream
- 1 pkg. noodles
Instructions
- Boil chicken until falls apart; discard skin and bones;
- cut up chicken
- combine chicken, cooked noodles, soup(notdiluted),chicken broth, sour cream
- Place in casserole dish and cook at 350 for 45 minutes
- At the last 15 minutes you can sprinkle with cheese if you so choose
Final Comments
If you boil the noodles in the same water you used for the chicken they taste better. After all this is a "chicken" casserole so it should taste like chicken.
