    List of Ingredients




    4 cups all purpose flour
    2 cups sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2 eggs
    2 cups milk
    1 c maple syrup
    2 tbsp. vegetable oil

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, syrup, and oil. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened (batter will be thin). Pour into two greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pans. Bake at 325 for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Makes 2 loaves.
