    Butter Pecan Bars

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 large egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3/4 cup flour
    2 cups milk-chocolate chips
    3/4 cup pecans

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 or 9-inch square pan. In small bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans. Spread in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes until chips soften. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup pecans. Press gently into chocolate. Cool; cut into squares.
