Chili-Cheese Rounds
List of Ingredients
1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon hot sauce
2 cups bisquick
1 cup sour sream
1cup shredded Monteray Jack cheese (about 4 ounces)Recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix beans, onion and hot sauce; reserve. Mix bisquick and sour cream till soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth-covered surface. Knead 20 times. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 inch cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a deep indentation about 1 1/2 inches in diameter in center of each round with floured hands. Fill each with the bean mixture; spread into indentation. Top with cheese. Bake till light brown 10-12 minutes. Makes about 30 appetizers.
Olive-cheese rounds:Add 1 can (2 1/4 ounce ) sliced ripe olives before adding the cheese.
