Preheat oven to 400-degrees. Grease 9-inch round cake pan.
Mix 2-cups bisquick baking mix and 2-tablespoons sugar; cut in 1/4-cup creamy peanut butter. Mix in 2/3-cup milk and 1 egg; beat vigorously 1/2 minute. Spread in pan.
Spoon 1/2-cup of your favorite jelly or jam onto batter and spread thinly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Serve warm. Serves 8.
