Whipped Butter
In small bowl, cream 1/2 cup butter or margarine until soft. Slowly beat in 2 tablespons milk or cream. Beat at highest speed till light and fluffy. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 1 cup.
Honey butter: Omit milk; gradually add 1/4 cup honey. Beat well.
Maple Butter: Substitute maple-flavored syrup for milk.
Orange Butter: Substitute orange juice for milk and 1 tablespoon grated orange peel.
Peanut- Honey Butter:Decrease butter to 3/4 cup and add 1/4 cup peanut butter. Omit milk; beat in 1/4 cup honey.
