Browned Butter Frosting
List of Ingredients
6 tablespoon butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3-4 tablespoon milkRecipe
In a 1 quart saucepan melt 6 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until butter just starts to turn golden (5-6 minutes). Butter will get foamy and bubble. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Combine browned butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in bowl. Beat on medium speed gradually adding milk until smooth and spreadable. Frost cooled cake.
