Charolotte's Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake
List of Ingredients
1/4 pound soft butter (1 stick)
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
8 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
topping:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
6 ounces chocolate chips
2 teaspoons cinnamonRecipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 baking pan. Cream together the butter, eggs and sugar. Add flour, sour cream and blend well. Add vanilla and baking soda.
In a second small bowl combine the brown sugar, nuts, chocolate chips, and cinnamon. Pour half of the batter in the baking pan and cover with half the topping mixture. Gently smooth over with spoon and repeat with batter and topping mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Makes 10-12 servings.
