    Coconut Pecan Frosting

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1 tablespoon milk
    1/3 cup flaked coconut
    1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

    Recipe



    In a 4 cup measuring cup, measure the milk. Beat in eggs till mixed. Stir in the sugar and add the butter/margarine. Cook in microwave for 4 minutes 30 seconds, stirring occasionally till mixture thickens and boils. Stir in vanilla, coconut and nuts. If necessary cool slightly till it's a spreading consistency. Use to frost a 3 layers of your favorite German chocolate cake.
