    3 cups sugar
    1/2 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup water

    Cook ingredients on medium heat. To test, remove from heat. Periodiacally dip a large spoon into the hot ingredients and when visible threads are formed, remove from heat. Cool slightly. Butter your hands and scoop up small amounts to pull until candy is white. Stretch candy out into a rope and cut off sizes of pieces desired.
