    Beer Can Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    3 cups flour
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
    1 cup beer
    Oil for deep frying

    Recipe

    Combine flour and sugar in bowl. Cut in butter as for pie crust. Stir in beer to form a dough. Shape into a ball, invert a pan over the dough and let rise at room temp for 30 minutes. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thick. Cut with a cookie cutter. Drop in hot fat and cook until golden. Drain on paper towels.
