    In bowl cream together 1 cup softened butter or margarine and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add 1 hard cooked egg yolk, sieved; 1 raw egg yolk; and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in 2&1/4 cups flour. Cover and chill. Work with a small amount of dough at a time; keep remainder chilled. Break off walnut-sized pieces of dough. With hands, roll each piece to about a 6-inch rope, 1/2 inch in diameter. Shape into a wreath, overlapping about 1 inch from ends. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with slightly beaten egg white; sprinkle with coarse sugar. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
