    Caramel Pudding

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/4 cup flour
    2 cups milk
    2 eggs, separeted
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    In a saucepan mix brown sugar with the flour. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens. Beat egg yolks with a fork; stir some hot mixture into yolks; then return to saucepan. Stir and cook about 30 seconds longer. Add vanilla. Pour into a bowl; place wax paper directly on pudding. Cool. Beat egg whites till soft peaks form;fold into cooled pudding. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Chill. Serve as is, or with a dollop of whipped cream and a pecan half or cashew on top.
