Lemon Sauce
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
3 tablespoon lemon juiceRecipe
In medium saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients; stir well. Gradually stir in boiling water. Bring to a boil; cook stirring constantly, 5 minutes or till thickened. Remove from heat. Add margarine, lemon peel and lemon juice; mix well. Serve warm or cool. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
