Granola Crisp
List of Ingredients
3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup honey roasted peanuts
1/2 cup raisinsRecipe
In a large bowl mix the oatmeal, coconut, wheat germ, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. Add the oil, honey, and water, and stir well with a wooden spoon.
Oil a large cookie sheet. Spread mixture in the pan and put it in the oven. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, stirring often. Stir in the peanuts and bake 1 hour more, stir often, until the granola is crisp and dry. When cool, mix in the raisins. Keep tightly covered in an airtight container. Makes about 5 cups
