Poppyseed Filling
List of Ingredients
1/2 pound ground poppyseed
3 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 cup granulated sugar
milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Melt margarine/butter in sauce pan, add sugar and heat just till melted. Add a little milk, then add the poppyseeds. If needed, add more milk till it's of a spreading consistency. Cook poppyseed on a low to medium heat, until you see it boil, stirring constantly. Then add vanilla after you take it off the heat. This makes enough for 6 kuchens.
