Rice Crust Quiche

Serves: 6
1 package chicken Rice-A-Roni or 1 (10-inch) pastry shell
1 1/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
1 1/4 cups half and half cream
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled Recipe
Prepare rice according to package directions, cool and spoon into a 10-inch glass pie pan and mold to form shell. Refrigerate. If not using rice, bake pastry shell and cool.
In a large bowl, combine cheese, milk, eggs, onions, salt, and pepper. Pour into shell and top with crumbled bacon. Bake at 375 degrees until firm, about 25 minutes.
