    This is called "pasta frolla" frolla means tender. This rich, all butter dough can be cut into rounds and baked as sugar cookies.

    2 cups flour
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup cold butter or margarine, cut up.
    2 large eggs

    Recipe



    In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. With pastry blender cut in butter till it resembles coarse crumbs.

    In small bowl with fork, lightly beat eggs. Make a well in flour mixture and add beaten eggs. Mix lightly with fork till dough is just moist enough to hold together. Shape dough into disk.

    Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes, or overnight. If chilled overnight, let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before rolling. Makes one 9 or 10 inch lattice crust tart.
