Vinegar Pie
List of Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3 eggs separated
3 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon butter
5 tablespoon vinegar
lemon extract
2 prebaked pie shells Recipe
Beat 1 egg white and add to sugar,egg yolks, flour, butter, vinegar and 1 1/2 cup water. Stir together and cook in saucepan several minutes; add extract. Pour into prebaked pie shells. Beat remaining 2 eggs whites until stiff and spread over top of pies. Place in moderate oven (about 350 degrees) until meringue is light brown.
