Crazy Crust Pizza
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds bulk sausage
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup mushroom pieces and stems, drained
8 ounce can tomato sauce
1-2 teaspoons oregano
4 ounces (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheeseRecipe
Heat oven to 425 degrees. (Place oven rack farthest away from heat source). Lightly grease 12-inch pizza pan; sprinkle with flour or cornmeal. In large skillet, brown meat; drain. In small bowl combine flour, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, milk and eggs; blend till smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan so batter covers bottom. Spoon meat mixture over batter; top with onion and mushrooms.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes or till pizza is deep golden brown. Combine tomato sauce and oregano; spoon over pizza. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake and additional 10-15 minutes. Serves 6.
