    Creole Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients




    4 loin or center cut pork chops, 1 1/2 inches thick
    salt
    pepper
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1/3 cup catsup
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
    3 tablespoons cider vinegar
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon flour

    Sprinkle chops lightly with salt and pepper.Brown on both sides in fat in a heavy skillet. Remove chops to casserole or baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Turn chops after one hour of baking. Makes 4 servings.
