Ham and Pasta Bake
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Topping:
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup dry bread crumbsRecipe
In a medium saucepan, combine the first 4 ingredients. Gradually stir in milk till blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or till thickened and bubbly. Stir in broccoli, macaroni, ham and cheese. Transfer to an ungreased 2 quart baking dish. For topping, combine butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over macaroni mixture. Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or till golden brown. Yield: 6 servings.
