Cream of Crab Soup
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 teaspoons dried Parsley Flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons dried Minced Onion
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
1/8 teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Ground Celery Seed
1/3 cup flour
4 cups milk
1 pound fresh crab meat
2 tablespoons dry sherry or cooking sherry (optional) Recipe
Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and add next 7 ingredients. With a whisk, stir until well blended. Return pan to heat and slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add crab meat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sherry and heat 1-2 minutes.
