    Barley Burgers

    List of Ingredients




    4 cups cooked barley
    4 teaspoons onion powder, or 1 medium onion chopped
    1/2 cup grated raw potato
    1/2 cup minced green pepper
    1/2 teaspoon thyme

    Recipe



    Blend all ingredients in a food processor till smooth and the consistancy is that of a sticky dough. Shape into 9 patties.(Wet your hands to avoid sticking)

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place on a non-stick baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes on each side. Then broil for 1 minute on each side, or till golden. Serves 9-10

    3 calories, 2.1 grams protein, .04 grams fat, 4.4 grams fiber.
