8 cups old fashioned oatmeal (not quick)
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups raw sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cups wheat germ
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup honey
2 tsp. vanillaRecipe
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together. heat oil, honey and vanilla in microwave or on stove. Stir well and pour over dry ingredients. Stir until granola is well coated. Pour into baking sheets that have high sides. Cook 15 minutes. be sure to stir granola every 5 minutes while cooking. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Note: If adding raisins do it AFTER granola is cooked.
