List of Ingredients



• 4 apples (Granny Smith)
  
• 2/3 cup sugar
  
• 1-1/2 cup water
  
• 2 Tbsp. butter
  
• 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  
• Filling:
  
• 1/3 cup sugar
  
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
  
• 2 tsp. butter
  
• Pie Crust: enough to cover 4 apples completely
  






Instructions



1. Core apples. Place apple on a piece of pie crust rolled out into a circle. Fill with sugar mixture (sugar, cinnamon) Dot with butter. Seal top.
   
   
2. In saucepan heat the first sugar, water, butter and cinnamon. Boil 3 minutes. Pour over apples.
   
   
3. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
