Coating:
1/3 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 chicken
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 chicken flavored bullion cube
1/4 C. sliced green onions
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel (I seldom have this, so I don't often use it)
Recipe
In a ziplock back combine the coating ingredients. Brush chicken with lemon juice. Add a few pieces of chicken at a time to the coating mix and shake well. In large skillet brown the chicken in shortening.
Dissolve the bullion cube in boiling water. Pour over chicken. Stir in onion, brown sugar, lemon peel and any remaining lemon juice.
Cover and cook on medium for 40 minutes.
