One package (20 ounce) frozen mixed vegetables
Three stalks celery - One half inch slices
One cup sliced stuffed olives
One small can pitted ripe olives sliced (Drain)
One small can mushrooms stems and pieces (Drain)
Three to four green onions, sliced
3 tomatoes cut into wedges
Recipe
Bring frozen vegetables to boil in small amount of cold water. Boil two minutes. Drain. Add remaining vegetables. Pour dressing over vegetables. Chill 24 hours. Toss two or three times. Drain before serving.
DRESSING:
One package Ranch Dressing Mix (original recipe-small package)
Two third cup oil
one half cup vinegar
Two level teaspoons sugar.
Whisk together. Let stand twenty minutes. Whisk several times during standing time.
HINTS:
The frozen vegetables I found were sixteen ounces. I used two and added asparagus chopped in about one inch pieces to frozen to make approximately 40 ounces and doubled the dressing and other ingredients. Cut up green and red pepper and add them raw.
