    Fruit-Nut Frosting

    This is great on German chocolate cake.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 stick margarine
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 small can mandarin oranges,drained
    • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
    • 1 cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Melt margarine in heavy saucepan over low heat.Stir in sugar, oranges, coconut and pecans.
    2. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil, and continue to stir while mixture boils for about 5 minutes.
    3. Quickly spread on cake.
