    Chicken Breasts with Hot Sesame Sauce


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
    • 2 tablespoon minced scallions
    • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
    • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
    • 2 cup chicken broth
    • 2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
    • 2 tablespoon white wine
    • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
    • pinch salt
    • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
    • generous pinch sugar
    • 2 tablespoon corn starch dissolved in a small amount of cold water
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil


    Instructions


    1. Brown chicken breast in oil until nearly cooked through; set aside.

    2. Add scallions, ginger, and garlic, and saute for about 5 seconds. Add the chicken broth, cayenne pepper, wine, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, sugar, and the cornstarch mixture. Heat and stir the mixture slowly until the sauce thickens.

    3. Return chicken to pan and simmer until chicken is cooked through.

    4. erve sauce over rice. Serves 4 to 6
