Chicken Breasts with Hot Sesame Sauce
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoon minced scallions
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoon white wine
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- pinch salt
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- generous pinch sugar
- 2 tablespoon corn starch dissolved in a small amount of cold water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Brown chicken breast in oil until nearly cooked through; set aside.
- Add scallions, ginger, and garlic, and saute for about 5 seconds. Add the chicken broth, cayenne pepper, wine, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, sugar, and the cornstarch mixture. Heat and stir the mixture slowly until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to pan and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
