Saucy Penne and Three Cheese Bake

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 (1-pound) package Penne, cooked as package directs
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1 (26-ounce) jar spicy tomato and pesto pasta sauce
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese or cottage cheese (drained)
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided (2 cups)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350º. In saucepan, over medium heat, cook ground beefuntil browned; pour off fat. Add pasta sauce.
- In medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and egg.
- In lightly greased 2 1/2-quart baking disk, layer penne, sauce mixture andcheese mixture. Repeat layers. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheeseover top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
