    Pineapple Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 loin chops -- cut 3/4" thick
    • salt and pepper -- to taste
    • 1 Cup pineapple chunks -- drain, reserve liquid
    • 3/4 Cup Pineapple Syrup (Reserved)
    • 1/4 Cup honey
    • 2 Tablespoons wine vinegar
    • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1/2 Teaspoon powdered ginger
    • 2 green onions -- sliced
    • 1 Green Pepper -- cut in thin strips


    Instructions


    1. Trim excess fat from chops; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown in large skillet. Arrange chops in bottom of crockpot.
    2. Combine remaining ingredients except green onions and pepper strips; pour over chops. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Halfway through cooking add green onions and peppers. Thicken juices with 1 ml. cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water, if desired.
